nsmcp::Authenticator method authenticate (public)

Declare the authentication contract for a request. The base authenticator always rejects access; credential implementations override it.

Parameters:

authorization (required)

Authorization header supplied by the caller.

server (required)

Selected NaviServer virtual-server name.

Returns:

No normal result; raises an HTTP 401 authentication error.
